Owner: Fort Worth Transportation Authority

This new equipment maintenance facility is currently undercosntruction and will be a part of the new TEX Rail 27-mile commuter rail line that will connect Fort Worth to DFW Airport. This facility will maintain eight diesel multiple unit (DMU) rail vehicles. Features of the new facility include storage, repair bays, train wash, fueling canopy, service and inspection areas and shop space. In addition, there will be an upper level work platform, administration and operations offices. The facility will accomodate 266 foot DMU vehicles.
