Construction Project Scheduler

- Work closely with project managers and other project support staff to develop/build construction schedules and other project control activities
- Coordinate with Engineers and Contractors on development of schedules in accordance with contract requirements
- Monitor project progress with monitoring activities that include identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and achievement dates
- Prepare critical path method (CPM) schedules and associated progress reporting, cost reporting and project analysis
- Develop and maintain baseline and monthly progress schedules
- Develop cost loaded schedules, as needed
- Provide schedule control, cost control, earned value reports and prepare general project support reports
- Create monthly narratives for projects
- Assist Project Managers in identifying potential scheduling delays and participate in the development of resolution plans
Requirements:
- Minimum two years' project scheduling experience in commercial construction or related industry
- Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project
- Extensive experience in providing detailed analysis of project schedules, from project inception through completion
- Demonstrated proficiency in tracking owner/architect delays
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Extensive experience performing time impact analysis
- Must provide three sample schedules that you have managed (including baseline schedule and final schedule at completion)
