Apply NowIdeal candidates will have solid experience planning, supervising, and coordinating construction projects; ensuring the quality of work and materials meets standards and project specifications; and that each project is completed within the required timeframe and budget. Must have proven experience supervising subcontractors and liaisons on the standard requirements of the site in terms of licenses and safety. Must be able to schedule and multi-task, be a good problem-solver, and be computer literate. Serve as a company representative and point of contact with the public, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers. Extended stay travel is a must if you live one hundred miles or more from the project site.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ten-plus years’ prior experience preferred as a construction superintendent on commercial projects.
- Prefer prior experience with government projects.
- Willing to travel or live near Abilene and/or Mccallen.
- Well-rounded diverse candidates with a variety of ground up commercial construction preferred.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft, Scheduling, email, etc.
- Must be good with extended stay travel. If residing in DFW area or one hundred plus miles of project, per diem is part of compensation package.
- Three references on past projects from Project Owners and/or Architects must be provided.
- A project list outlining prior projects, including the dollar amount on each, must be provided.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
