The project involves construction of a modern Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Maintenance Facility in Electra, Wichita County, TX. Its goal is to enhance TxDOT's operational efficiency in the region. The facility will feature ample parking, well-equipped office and shop buildings, a truck wash building, salt and brine storage structures, equipment storage facilities, and an asphalt tank. An emergency generator will ensure operational resilience during power outages. Additionally, there will be an open yard storage area with site lighting, and secure perimeter fencing for facility safety, various site improvements, including landscape reconfiguration, drainage optimization, and environmental considerations. Overall, the project aims to significantly improve Texas' transportation network through enhanced infrastructure and operational efficiency.
