Cleburne ISD Wheat Middle School

As CMAR, Imperial collaborated with Cleburne ISD and a specialized design team to renovate and expand A.D. Wheat Middle School, enhancing its existing 140,000 square feet with an additional 40,000 square feet of facilities, including a tornado shelter, to create a nurturing learning environment for 7th and 8th-grade students. The project addressed site issues such as inadequate parking and poor traffic circulation by providing a secured main entry, additional locker rooms, a new stage, upgraded sports fields, improved visitor parking, and a new bus loop. Conducted on an occupied campus, the renovation required phased construction and careful coordination with ongoing school activities to ensure safety and minimize disruptions.
